About

MILLIE GODWIN is an editor and writer from Nottingham, UK. She began her career as a copy and line editor on Fiverr in January 2020, during her BA in Creative Writing and English Literature. She soon discovered an adoration for the unique celebration of character, language, and learning particularly found in children’s literature. Ever since, her aim has been to help authors ignite children’s imaginations. She currently works at an independent children's publisher as a Junior Editor. She also continues to freelance. 

 

She hopes to pass her lifelong love of storytelling onto the next generation of young readers by drafting some of her own children's books. She also writes literary and fantasy books that have yet to see the light of day. Various literary magazines have published some of her poems.

 

Biannually, she dedicates her spare time to her literary magazine – Toil & Trouble – where she and its contributors can indulge in their affinity with witchcraft, nature, and magical weirdness.

Away from work, she watches the same five shows with her Cavaliers, Dexter and Amber Jamba, and tries to be a consistent bookstagrammer.
